On the Way to Rejuvenation

After a 90-minute flight from Tokyo, or a 50-minute flight from Osaka, the best way to reach ANA InterContinental Beppu Resort & Spa
is to rent a car at Oita International Airport and take the scenic 45 km drive.

BY PLANE
From Tokyo Haneda Airport, it takes about 1 hour and 40 minutes, from Narita Airport about 2 hours, and from Osaka about 1 hour to arrive at Oita Airport.
If you use the airport bus (1,500 yen), it takes about 50 minutes to reach “Beppu Station” or “Kitahama Bus Center.”
If you use a rental car or taxi (approximately 15,000 yen), it takes about 50 minutes to reach the hotel.
* Taxis can also be arranged through the hotel (reservation required). Fees vary by vehicle type.
BY TRAIN
From Tokyo, it takes about 6 hours, from Osaka about 4 hours, and from Fukuoka/Hakata about 2 hours to arrive at Oita Station.
Then, from JR Nippo Main Line “Oita Station” to “Beppu Station” (approximately 14 minutes), or from JR “Kokura Station” to “Beppu Station” (approximately 1 hour and 14 minutes).
From Beppu Station, if you use a taxi (approximately 3,000 yen), it takes about 20 minutes through the steam-rising hot spring district to reach the hotel.
BY LOCAL BUS
From Nagasaki, it takes about 4 hours, from Kumamoto about 3.5 hours, and from Fukuoka about 2 hours to arrive at Oita Station.
BY CAR
For those travelling from abroad, you are required to have a valid international driver’s license when renting a car.
The resort is a short distance from the Beppu Interchange on the Higashi-Kyushu Expressway.
It is also possible to take a taxi from the airport, at a cost of approximately ¥15,000. It takes about 50 minutes to reach the hotel.
For ¥1,500, an express bus from the airport will drop you off near Beppu station in 50 minutes.
From there you can ride the sleek Mercedes V220 Shuttle Bus to the resort. (Directions to the boarding location here)
Alternatively, you can also take a 20-minute taxi ride from Beppu Station. (¥3,000)
SHUTTLE BUS TIME SCHEDULE
The suttle service is provided for stay guests on Time Table below.
（shuttle buses are available by reservation only, but all buses will be operated on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays when operation is high.）
Reservations must be made in advance in order to use the service.
